Minnesnowta

I’ve done it again and neglected my blog. Currently, I am a little under the weather and am hoping this weekend will clear everything up.

So as you may know or may not know, I moved from California to Minnesota to help my dad’s company. The plan originally was to stay for a month and then move to Colorado due to a series of unfortunate events I (along with my sister and brother-in-law) have to stay for another month. Yikes, huh. It’s not as bad as it seems though. We are waiting on the new office in Colorado to be built.

Yes, I am legit living in my parents basement. Total cliche for a post college grad but at least I am working and making money. The work space is pretty relaxed which is nice considering there are many changes going on. There is still a lot to learn about my dad’s company as well as thinking of new ways to make my daily work regime more efficient.

There’s not much to do in my town or the bigger towns around me. It’s hard to find something to do especially coming back from living in active outdoor states/cities that never sleep. It’s all about the “Minnesota nice” and the Minnesota slow. People move slow here. Sometimes slower than people in Hawaii (no offense). For as slow as things move around here, time tends to move fast.

I enjoy living at the house I grew up in. I haven’t spent much time here since I graduated high school. I get to hang with my little bros and my mom. It’s also fun because there are so many pets. There is never a dull moment with a Newfoundland puppy in the household.

Spring is finally here regardless of what Mother Nature thinks. Coachella is right around the corner and so is the big company move.

More to come for my next post. I can’t promise anything but I will try to post more frequently. Now, I am going to take some NyQuil and sleep.
